Cookies Policy

Last updated · 1 July 2026

This Cookies Policy explains how Lifely Kenya Ltd uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on lifely.co.ke. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your choices (like items in your cart), keep you signed in, and let us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.

01

The categories we use

Strictly necessary. Required for the site to function — session, cart, security, load-balancing. These cannot be turned off in our systems, but you can block them in your browser (the site may then not work correctly).

Preference. Remember your recent settings, currency, wishlist and login state so we don't ask you the same question twice.

Analytics. Aggregate, anonymised measurements — pages viewed, buttons clicked, time on page — used only to improve the site. Set only with your consent.

Marketing. Used to measure the effectiveness of any advertising we run and to personalise offers. Set only with your explicit consent.

How to manage cookies

You can change your preferences at any time using the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or by clearing your browser storage. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in Settings → Privacy.

Helpful browser guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break parts of the site — you may not be able to sign in or checkout.

04

Third-party services

A small number of features are provided by third parties, who may set their own cookies on your device — WhatsApp click-to-chat, YouTube video embeds, and, if you consent, Google Analytics. These providers process data under their own policies; we choose partners with adequate safeguards under the Data Protection Act, 2019.

05

Do Not Track

We honour the browser-level Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — when GPC is enabled, we treat it as opt-out of analytics and marketing cookies. We do not respond to the older “Do Not Track” header, as there is no industry consensus on its meaning.

06

Updates to this policy

We will update this policy whenever we add, remove or change a cookie. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the most recent version. Questions? Email privacy@lifely.co.ke.
