Terms & Conditions of Sale
Last updated · 1 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and Lifely Kenya Ltd (“Lifely”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of lifely.co.ke, our WhatsApp storefront and any purchase you make from us.
By placing an order, creating an account or continuing to browse the site, you confirm you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract in Kenya to purchase from Lifely. Certain products may have additional age or health-condition restrictions clearly flagged on the product page. Products sold are food supplements and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Product information
We take reasonable care to describe every product accurately — ingredients, dosage, size, price and country of origin. Colours and packaging may vary slightly from the images shown. Product information on the site is for general guidance only and does not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Consult your doctor before starting any new supplement, particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication or managing a medical condition.
Prices, currency & taxes
All prices on the site are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Delivery fees are shown separately at checkout. We reserve the right to correct any pricing error before dispatch and will offer you a full refund if a correction affects an order you have already placed.
How your order is formed
Adding a product to cart does not create a contract. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a written confirmation (WhatsApp or email) that your order has been accepted and is being prepared. We may decline any order at our discretion — for example, if a product is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, or if delivery is not possible to your address — and will refund any payment already received.
Payment
We currently accept:
- M-Pesa Pay Bill / Send Money.
- Cash on Delivery within Nairobi (subject to verification).
- Bank transfer and card payment where advised.
Payment is due at the time of order confirmation unless we have agreed Cash on Delivery. Goods remain the property of Lifely until payment has been received in full.
Delivery
Delivery is covered in full in our Shipping Policy. Delivery timelines are estimates and not guarantees. Lifely is not liable for delays caused by our courier partners, weather, strikes or events outside our reasonable control, but we will always keep you informed and refund the delivery fee where a delay is our fault.
Returns & refunds
Consumables such as supplements can only be returned if they arrive damaged, incorrect or defective. Please see our Returns Policy for full detail, including how to raise a claim and the refund timelines under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
Authenticity guarantee
Every product we sell is sourced directly from the brand or its authorised distributor. If you ever receive a product you believe to be counterfeit, contact us within 30 days for a full refund and a matching credit as our apology.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately at hello@lifely.co.ke if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site to break any law, infringe intellectual-property rights or defraud another user.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, resell the site's content, or scrape catalogue data at scale.
- Upload viruses, malicious code, or content that is abusive, defamatory or unlawful.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
Intellectual property
All content on lifely.co.ke — including the Lifely name, logo, editorial copy, product photography and site design — is owned by or licensed to Lifely Kenya Ltd and protected by Kenyan and international copyright and trademark law. Brand names, logos and product images belong to their respective owners and are used with permission or under fair use.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, our total liability to you in relation to any order is limited to the price you paid for that order. We do not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded at law — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or breach of your statutory consumer rights.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, unless you are entitled by consumer-protection law to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction. We prefer to resolve issues informally first — reach out to hello@lifely.co.ke and we will try to make it right.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the site at the time you place an order is the version that governs that order. We will highlight material changes and update the “Last updated” date above.
